Department Profile
The Department of Chemistry was established in 1964, for imparting UG and PG courses as well as Ph.D. degree in the fields of coordination chemistry, chemical kinetics, synthetic organic chemistry and green chemistry. The Department has done 25 research projects, published more than 1750 papers, 50 reviews and produced 430 Ph. Ds. to mention a few highlights of the Department. It has well-equipped laboratories and is presently chaired by Dr. Jyoti Chaudhary
